Once again as usual, i am in bedford. This time around, it is the first time i will be at bedford college, and i am using a friends login ID to access the internet.Since my telephone connection has being severed (due to non-payment), I was unable to log on to my AOL dial up which definitely ,limit my laptops work power. I feel relieved getting back online to be able to write on the blog.

Today was appealing at the RCCG pathfinder parish Manchester. We did stage a drama to showcase young people struggling with “being Christians” In the UK. With Jumoke(always around), Tiwadayo(God bless you), Emmanuel(God sees u), Bayo(its him again), Dayo(Here you are), the drama was able to artistically showcase the youth forums individual talents in acting. With more things to come, i foresee a dynamic youth forum with all members contributing their quota in every ramifications.

Text: Matthew 16:15-23

Satan uses lots of methods to distract the children of God. He is very wise. He knows that he cannot use your enemy because you are not likely to listen to the enemy. He prefers to use your closest friend. We have an example in Matthew 16:15-17: “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said; Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in Heaven.” Satan here sensed that he had found someone close to Jesus Christ; someone He could rely on. In Matthew 16:21-23, something then happened: “From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him saying, Be it far from thee, Lord this shall not be unto thee – But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God but those be of men.” Satan, knowing that Peter was close to Jesus Christ, entered him and used him. Satan though Jesus Christ would agree to what Peter had to say. He had already seen what Jesus Christ would go through at Gethsemane. He thought that it would be easy to get Jesus Christ through Peter. Thank God, the devil failed. Jesus overcame the devil because He was very watchful. The devil is still using the same methods today. He has continued to lay booby traps for the ignorant by using those who appear friendly. Watch it, your closest friend may turn round to draw you into the by-ways of sin. He that has ears let him hear.

it is funny how time flies” i said to myself as i wait at a “pumpkin” cafe shop encamped in the train station at bedford. The weekend Holiday is over. I just cant imagine how fast it went as my day to day life activities seems to come back to me.i had rushed out of the house i was staying in( Thanks to Yinka) as i didnt wanted to miss the train only to discover that i anticipated to go one hour earlier than the train itself.so i had no choice than to wait at the train station. In this case inside the coffee cafe shop.Life is back to normal again, The sleeping, the working, the church thing, school thing( i am lacking behind seriously) the youth forum thing as well.I still haven’t got over the X-factor. I just cant stop thinking of it. How on earth can shayne be better than andy.The weekend was the last episode for the X-factor 2005. I didn’t really like it from the beginning but i must say that a very close friend has influenced me into becoming crazily mad.it dominated the headlines of the Daily papers. The metro, the sun, the daily star, the guardian, e.t.c.

Maybe’m being sentimental about this, but I think Andy deserves it more than shayne does. shayne is a prettier(excuse my language) handsome, 21 year old guy, thereby increasing his female fans. He beat Andy by 1.4% and he is crowned the king of X-factor.it is however possible for his new debut single to top the UK music chart. He particularly was flawless in his performances and “journey south”, another contestant was’nt up to match as they were  relegated to the third position.

I felt compelled by the Holyspirit to write everyone this letter. its approximately 6 days we finish the Youth sunday. I felt so tired that i had to go on leave for two days and put everything behind me. I thank God that the program was a success, it wont have happened if not for the joint effort of everybody at Integrity youth club.considering the preparations, the coordination, the administration, We did’nt do too bad for a beginning.I particularly think we are getting to know each others strengths and weaknesses and building up a team of young people with integrity. I look forward to more programmes like this

I won’t go further without recognising everybody who’s effort has impressed me a lot;

1.For Jeff, your maturity is too much for me as i can’t stop learning much more and more from you.” I know the lord” is a hit track( permit me to say that), the youth talk was also compelling.

2.Jumoke Hamzat, the best secretary the youth team has. I just can’t praise your versatility enough. Even when the president forgets so much, your ability to remember saves the day, i must say that i covet that voice of yours ( Naughty of me, isnt it?lol)

3.Dammy Matte- U were great during the dance presentation.your presence in the team has brought a flow of energy.

4.Dare- Tell me about those base guitar and keyboard licks…we can always rely on God by your side.

5.The two Bayo’s- You are simply da bomb.please dont relent on your effort to be better than what you are. God loves you.

6.Olamide- your dance moves stir a lot of excitement in the crowd.

7.Tunde – Thanks a lot for teaching us the dance. That “afrobeat” song was exciting.

8. Sade – Thanks for the food ( alongside Jumoke), what a canal way to end a day of spiritual significance. we were great.

9.Laolu- I personally think your personality commands a lot of respect.

10.Dayo-You are a member of a vital force in the development system, God bless you abundantly

11.Bro Kola- You are God’s ambassador, I wish to c more of you in drama

12.cilia- You did what u are able to do in a proper way.God is your strength

13.Jumoke sapara- You were flawless doing the ushering. I could see you doing your job when i was on the podium

14.Wumi Adefioye- God is your strength, he understands how much u struggling hard to make it up for the forum. God bless you abundantly

I particularly love the month of December, it helps me evaluate where i am coming from, where i am, and where i am going.Have u ever take planning a whole year into consideration?. One of my vision for 2005 is to start a degree in IT and computing, which i achieved. Others are strengthing my relationship with God( Hence the birth of Integrity youth club),Increasing my involvement in the world of ICT and youth development. One of the things i have failed to achieve this year is “gaining more weight”( weird is’nt?) and travelling to south Africa( i wanted to meet Nelson Madiba Mandela, dont ask me how!) Making resolutions, mapping out plans and looking forward to the year ahead is an inteeligent way of architecting the future. what did u intend doing successfully this year?, did u meet up with target?, what did u achieve?. Achieving plans require setting goals, making decisions, building up self esteem and taking action. Why dont you go back to the drawing board, as the year rolls to an end, evaluate yourself, and make new plans for the coming year.

If u have the will, then yo’ve got the way. God bless you all.

I woke up so late this morning  and i just couldnt help but rush to church. Today is the d-day for the youth sunday. The program started with the praise and worship and Tunde and Sade were at their best doing what they know to do. Jeff was incredible as well, The MC thing was good. The invitees dance was cool as well, as they, in their mastery captivated the audience. The music presentation ’I know the lord” and “praise him while u can” wasnt too bad for a starter. “Wacked” up in our Integrity club customised T-shirt, with blue jeans and white trainers to match. The integrity dance was a hit presentation. Dayo was amazing, both bayo’s were incredile, Olamide was da bomb, Dare was a cool gentleman. i cant forget the efforts of Bayo, laolu, and sade. The posing part of the dance was really cool.

I felt a bit nervous mounting the stage to preach, not because of the people, but because of my flesh. i just dont want to do anything according to my flesh. To the glory of God, it was a very good one. Pastor wale Hamzat also prayed for the youths and it was a glorious day. The food was nice, thanks to Jumoke, shade and everybody at the welfare team. Kudo’s to people who waited behind to make sure the auditorium looks nice as it was before the programme.
